We have added a chat window on the left side of the blog. We welcome any suggestions for blog topics, or reviews of stocks, or sectors. I know "The Word" would like to have reader comments on his take of the market, or rather, what he "sees" in the charts.

If you have any experience or questions on trading systems, this is a great to place to discuss, much easier than opening comment windows.

I have seen some blogs with chats for day traders, to pass along stocks that are setting up or have begun a move. We welcome day traders to post through out the day.

  1. Hate to say it, but you are never going to get much readership or many comments unless you focus on US stocks. For the most part, daytraders don't play Canadian.

  2. Daytraders aren't really our focus, but they are welcome to use the chat. The advantage of the Canadian markets to a daytrader is the fact that any account size can daytrade, as opposed to the US where you have to have 25K or more to not be considered a pattern daytrader.

In any event, there are enough US stock blogs out there, but not many Canadian blogs. Readership numbers is not our main objective, if it were, you are absolutley correct, the US markets would be the target.

    Thanks for the input.

  3. Hi Brian,

I agree with your comment. There are certainly more people interested in US Stocks, but there are also hundreds of blogs out there to cover these stocks.

There are very few blogs that have a Canadian outlook.

That being said, there is one Canadian stock blog that you probably are not aware of, and that is my blog. Just click on my name above if you are interested.

If you like what you see, perhaps we can cross-link our blogs.

Let's hear what you have to say!
